Inended Use:
The iGFBP-1 Test Cassette (Vaginal Secretion) is a based on fluorescence immunoassay for
the quantitative detection of iGFBP-1 in vaginal secretions during pregnancy, which is a major
protein marker of the amniotic fluid in a vaginal secretion sample. The test is intended for
professional use to help diagnose the rupture of fetal membranes (ROM) in pregnant women.
 
Principle:
The iGFBP-1 Test Cassette (vaginal secretion) detects iGFBP-1 based on Fluorescence
Immunoassay. The sample moves through the strip from sample pad to absorbent pad. The
iGFBP-1 in the specimen will be combined with the iGFBP-1 antibody that has been
conjugated with fluorescence microspheres and the combination will be captured by anohter
iGFBP-1 antibody coated on the membrane. The more iGFBP-1 in the specimen, the more
fluorescent microspheres will be captured on the membrane. According to the fluorescence
intensity of the test and the standard curve, the concentration of iGFBP-1 in the sample can be
calculated and reported by the analyzer
